The Interplay of Light and Shadows
The ancient philosophy and wisdom of I-Ching is incorporated into the modern design. A minimalist black-and-white color scheme represents the harmony of yin and yang. Linear transitions symbolize the natural law of constant change and create visual layers of beauty. Hexagrams from the book of I-Ching representing Heaven, Earth, Family, and Advancement are subtly integrated into the grand bookcase and wall. Light and shadows interact and complement each other, just like yin and yang. The design achieves the owner’s wishes for his home to reflect his philosophy of life.
