Guangzhou Julong Bay

Guangzhou Julong Bay is an exhibition center created inside four brick warehouses built in the 1950s on the west bank of the Pearl River. The base is made from a 2 mm steel plate shaped by pressing and reinforced by a radial frame, which keeps the edge thin and reduces the risk of tripping. Assembly is simple and needs no changes to the room.

The design covers around 7000 square meters across two upper floors, a ground floor and a basement. Open plan areas are combined with fifteen rooms, a cafeteria and a lounge. A toolbox of movable furniture, presentation equipment, a foldable stage, rugs and plants allows each area to be arranged for the event taking place. Most items are fitted with castor wheels, so they can be moved freely.
